Baby Colin

Colin's vested romper was created using the back of mom's wedding gown so that the front could be saved in case someday a girl's gown is needed. :) We used some of the appliques to embellish the vest. Dad wanted a baseball cap instead of the usual bonnet. The bib was machine embroidered on the front with a cross and on the back with Colin's initials. His shoes had the christening date embroidered on the bottom of one sole. The fabric in the gown was dupioni silk which gives it a beautiful sheen but wrinkles easily. We've been promised pics!
