We have been so busy with our clients, it's been hard to find time to put together new products but we finally did so check out our store on 1000 Markets! After this weekend I'll be able to post a picture of my sister's wedding dress. With family coming in from out of state, it's been a time of joyful anticipation. After that vacation time will be here and I'm so looking forward to spending time in Ocean City, MD with my kids and grandkids. It's kind of a whirlwind of emotions!
In between all that we have a very large job to complete....that's if we can get the fabric store to cooperate. As in my previous post (or whining, whatever!) it's difficult to find a fabric store near me and our client wanted washable outdoor fabric. Online, you take a chance and most of them said "dry clean". Another local fabric store had only dry clean only fabric. Also there was the time constraint, ordering a sample, placing an order so we were very happy to find a washable fabric at a "local" fabric store. It all went downhill from there. I'm amazed at how some places can stay in business. After waiting a week for our order, we were told "oh, they don't make that anymore". So, we had to go with choice #2, costing us more money. They said it would take a week. The next week it came in but the fabric had an ink stain all the way down the middle of 30 yards of fabric. At this point, we're getting "peeved". They said we'll re-order and have it "over-nighted"....well, here we are 1 week later and still no fabric.
So, any of you out there have any suggestions, please leave a comment!!!
