Two Fer
Our latest customer wanted two Christening outfits created from her wedding gown, one for her godson and one for her daughter. Her dress was probably a size 2, simple but very elegant ivory silk dupioni. We were able to match the fabric for her godson's outfit and used part of hers for the bodice, including the satin. She wanted a dress but a little more masculine. For her daughter, we made her daughter's christening dress entirely out of her wedding gown, added gathered ecru lace to the lining, sleeves, bodice and bonnet to make it more feminine. The colors in the photographs show different but it's still the same gown.
