A Gown for Marisa

I try not to publish pictures of our christening gowns until the moms get to see them first so we had to wait a bit to post this one. Mom's gown was simple with an floral applique of beads and sequins and a coat made of netting with appliques of sequins, beads and embroidery. We were able to use a bit of the bottom of the coat to embellish the baby's gown and remove the floral applique from the top of the gown for the bodice of the dress. We then designed a coat from Mom's coat scaled down to baby's size. The bonnet also had appliques from the coat.
