Shannon's Sweetie
We so much love getting photos from our mommies and don't we dress some of the most adorable babies?? Thanks so much for sharing your pics! Shannon's mother-in-law commissioned us from California to create this outfit from her wedding gown.

Christening Outfit for Dillon
This is Dillon's awesome outfit and messenger cap. Mom brought a picture and wanted it copied exactly. It's a one piece with blue trim on the middle, neck and around the sleeves. There's an embroidered piece inside his cap from mom's dress with her wedding date and an embroidered piece with his own christening date inside his outfit. Both were made with fabric from mom's gown. Dillon is 9 months old and this is the largest christening outfit we've made so far. Mom was very happy with the results!

Christening Gown for Hadyn
Our favorite part of creating these one of a kind outfits is seeing the expression on Mom's face when they see them for the first time. We had a great time with Kristi's gown, even though the beads and sequins were flying all over the place. The bottom of the gown had such wonderful lacework while the top had beautiful beadwork. We agreed with mom that with all this going onto the bottom of the gown, less was more on the top. She also wanted just some small trimwork on the bonnet and of course the shoes finished it all off. Mom was also included in a You Tube video we are trying to put together, stay tuned!

Hi Sarah and Angie,I'm sending you along a picture of Morgan from her christening. We were so pleased with the gorgeous dress, and I can't even count how many compliments we received on it. Everyone was truly amazed by what a beautiful job you ladies did.
Thank you for helping to make her day even more special.

God Bless Olivia
Pictures of baby Olivia in her "one of a kind" christening creation. Our thanks to mom for sending us pics of her little cutie. There was another family in the church who were impressed by her gown and asked where she got it and mom passed on our information. Thanks Jacqui!

God Bless Kaitlyn!
Thank you Jessica for sharing Kaitlyn's special day with us through these pictures. She looked adorable in her gown and bonnet. Also for the glimpse of what a beautiful bride you were in your gown & veil. Your kind words mean so much to us!

Francesca
We began this creation using mom's beaded, appliqued and ruched wedding gown. The over layer was dupioni silk and the under layer was bridal satin.
The straps were given to mom by her mom so she wanted them to be used in some way in the gown or bonnet. We used the beaded bodice to make the bodice of the babie's gown. We decided it would be best on the bonnet.
Mom also decided she'd like a bib, in which we used the underlayer of satin, embroidered a cross with silver and edged it all with silver binding.

Diana
Diana's gown came to us via the baby's Godmother, who had offered to have her gown made into a christening gown. Unfortunately for her, but fortunately for us, the person originally set to make the gown no longer "did that kind of work". After searching on the internet, she found us and as she lived and worked nearby, we were able to help her out. Diana's gown was a satin, lined gown with an overlay of netting with applique's attached. Since we had a photo and patterns to work with, we were able to complete the project in good time. We removed some of the appliques to place on the bonnet to complete the look. Pictures have been sent to mom.

A Christening Gown for Emily
Our newest customer wanted us to use her favorite parts of her wedding gown in a christening gown for her daughter, the lacy scalloped bottom and the satin pleated knotted ribbon at the bodice. Most of our customers prefer the longer gown, but Diane preferred a shorter gown, similar to one she wore as a baby. We used the scalloped bottom on the bottom of the dress and also to dress up the bonnet. We took the ribbon off and pared it down to fit the tiny bodice of the christening gown. While we love what we do, our favorite part is the hug bonus at the end! Promised pics of Emily in her gown and hat to come, so here's our pics of the before and after gowns.

Senior Moments!
Oh dear, we forgot to take a picture of our latest little boy's romper! Guess this is what happens when both partners are having senior moments together. We used only the satin fabric from mom's gown, saving the beautiful overlay for a possible girl's christening gown. We used the lacing in the back to create a little bow tie. Mom chose the vested version that we make, with long pants. We've been promised pictures so hopefully I'll be posting them another time. Meanwhile, here's the "before" picture:
We have just taken on 2 more customers and are creating gowns for their babies....will try not to forget pics this time!
